MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY, MANKATO LEGACY SOCIETY NEWSLETTER (Winter 2016—The Jim and Kathryn Vonderharr Environmental and Earth Science Fund is forward-thinking, generous and flexible in terms of how it might be used. The fund, which will be gifted to the University as part of the Vonderharrs’ estate, will allow faculty to generate an idea and then work with a team of students, who will receive hands-on experience. The Vonderharr's set up a donor-advised fund through the Mankato Area Foundation, a community foundation that will disperse their funds in keeping with their wishes after they are gone.
