12.5.11 – Mankato Area Foundation Announces Fall 2011 Grant Recipients
The Mankato Area Foundation (MAF) has recently awarded over $25,000 in local grants and scholarships to organizations during its recent funding cycle. Semi-annually, MAF distributes grants from the Mankato Area Community Fund and other donor advised and designated funds in response to applications based on five core areas of funding which include education, culture, recreation, aesthetics and civics. The Otto Bremer Foundation today announced four grants totaling up to $1 million to promote positive youth development in Mankato and strengthen community capacity to support youth. Grant recipients include:
· Mankato Area Foundation, up to $400,000 over three years for an ongoing endowment to

MANKATO, Minn. (September 9, 2011) — The Mankato Area Foundation (MAF) has announced their fall grant application deadline as October 1, 2011. MAF is pleased to announce that with the October 2011 deadline, the Foundation has implemented the Foundant Grant Lifecycle Manager, an online software application designed specifically for granting agencies.
