Scholarship Opportunities
The Mankato Area Foundation administers scholarship funds for current high school seniors planning for post-secondary education.
Marlyn R Heintz Scholarship Fund
Eligible Applicants: High school senior women graduating from School District 77 in Mankato, MN or School District 14-4 in Watertown, SD.
Application Deadline – March 1
Ogden W and Jane M Confer Scholarship Fund
Eligible Applicants: High school seniors who are graduating from School District 77 and plan on attending a 4 year liberal arts institution.
Application Deadline – March 1
Dustin Lemke Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligible Applicants: Those students applying for the Triple A Award at Mankato East High School in School District 77.
Mankato Area Foundation does not accept applications for the Dustin Lemke Memorial Scholarship. Winners of the Triple A Award at Mankato East High School will be granted the Dustin Lemke Scholarship.
Application Deadline – Mankato East High School’s Triple A Award application deadline. Please verify application process and deadlines with East High School’s guidance counselor.
Jenny Schugel Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligible Applicants: Applicants must be a J&R Schugel Trucking employee, owner operator, or an immediate family member of the employee or owner operator. Employee or owner operator must be currently employed with J&R Schugel Trucking, Inc. and for a period of 24 months.
