Andy Thom started his career in public accounting at Abdo, Eick & Meyers, LLP in 2002, and was with the firm until April 2019. He led the firm’s manufacturing segment and provided merger and acquisition consulting. Andy started a new career as the CFO of LJP Waste Solutions in May of 2019. He has volunteered for local nonprofits such as the YMCA’s Youth Basketball Program, Mankato United Soccer, and the Blue Earth County Historical Society. He also enjoys camping, sports, and spending time outdoors with his wife and two boys.

Andy currently serves as treasurer to the Mankato Area Foundation Board of Directors. Appointed to the Board 2013, he has served as a past chair. Andy currently serves as a member of both the Strategy & Governance and Finance Committees.
