Louise Dickmeyer – Chair

Louise Dickmeyer is a longtime Mankato resident.  She presently serves as Director, Center for Talent Development at Minnesota State University, Mankato.  She previously served as President of People Driven Performance, President and CEO of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce, a member of Taylor Corporation Strategic Accounts group, and was National Director of Marketing for Scholarship America.  She has 25+ years’ experience in business and economic development in southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities. She is a 2013 Minnesota Business Magazine Real Power 50, Mankato YWCA Women of Distinction and U.S. Small Business Administration Financial Services Advocate award recipient. She has also been recognized as The Business Journal (Minneapolis) Twin Cities’ 25 Most Influential Women and Minneapolis Star Tribune’s – People to Watch.  Dickmeyer is the author of No Risk No Reward: Mergers of Membership Associations and Nonprofits and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato and a Master of Nonprofit Management Degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Louise currently serves as chair of the Mankato Area Foundation Board of Directors. Appointed to the Board in 2015, she also serves as chair of the Strategy & Governance committee.
